The Virtual Reality of Music
in October 2020 I will start a PhD on behalf of Drake Music Northern Ireland in the world renowned Sonic Arts Research Centre in Queens University Belfast. The focus of the doctorate is the application of emerging technologies in augmented and virtual reality in making music with disabled musicians.
There are many challenges to the adaption of technology to music making and I look forward with excitement to becoming part of the Performance Without Barriers Team.
